Christmas Eve evening was always magical at Sheryl’s family’s: dress up for church, enjoy a fancy meal on the fine china, rush off to a candlelight service, get home and jump into pajamas and sweats, enjoy Christmas cookies, wassail, eggnog, watch Charlie Brown Christmas, and fight for the prime position on the hearth to get warm. This scent captures way more than the fireplace smoke for me.
